Since 2003, Bill Goff has been assisting his clients in their pursuit for a more confident retirement. Bill has obtained numerous financial licenses, including the Series 6, 7, 63 and 65, as well as his life and health insurance license. This affords him the opportunity to provide clients with a wide array of financial products as he constructs comprehensive financial plans that are individualized to each client.
When Bill works with his clients, he strongly believes in educating them with “the Heart of a Teacher” to help them understand their retirement plan and what it takes to work toward their goals. He seeks to assist clients in all stages of financial planning from insurance review, college savings, 401(k) plan implementation and management, debt elimination, and asset accumulation, all the way to the distribution phase of retirement and financial estate planning. He believes a valuable part of financial planning includes understanding the importance and proper use of insurance including life, health, as well as long-term care and disability with a special emphasis on Medicare and Obamacare plans.
Since Bill’s passion for education is obvious, he’ll occasionally be asked to speak at civic groups or company outings about health, Medicare insurance or comment on the market. He’ll also share his financial knowledge each quarter and speak at other events, including an annual state retirement seminar or engaging with clients at lunches, dinners, golf or fishing outings, and cooking schools.
Bill’s education includes attending Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi, and Holmes Community College in Grenada.
Bill and his wife Melinda have been married more than 20 years and have four children (Will, Jennie, Lauren and William) and several grandchildren. He enjoys golf, spending time with his grandchildren, and family outings. He attends Friendship Baptist Church where he’s also involved in the Men’s Ministry activities.
